Terms of Use

The app

Vespera Ritual provides guided breathing exercises, astronomical information for a selected city, evening reflections, multi-night journeys and personal practice records. Sky calculations use on-device formulas and bundled event dates. Times and visibility are estimates and can differ from other sources or local observing conditions.

Personal practice

Breathing exercises and reflections are for relaxation and personal practice. They are not medical advice. Stop if you feel unwell and seek professional advice for a health concern. Do not practice while driving or in water. Night Mirror presents existing Apple Health records descriptively. Comparisons do not establish causation or provide a medical assessment.

Vespera Premium subscriptions

Premium is optional and offers the same paid features through two automatically renewing plans. The weekly plan has a 3-day free trial for eligible subscribers. The monthly plan has no free trial. Prices vary by country or region. Your App Store purchase sheet displays the current local price and any eligible offer before confirmation.

Apple charges your account when the paid period begins. An eligible weekly trial becomes a paid weekly subscription unless cancelled. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current subscription or trial period ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple account's Subscriptions settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Introductory-offer eligibility is determined by Apple for the subscription group.

Premium includes all seven rhythms, longer sessions, haptic guidance, all journey nights, the full journal and insights, constellation history, Night Mirror, additional Night Screen durations, qualifying event sessions and poster export. Balanced Breath and Unwind remain free with sessions of one, three or five minutes. The first night of each journey is also free. A subscription is needed to continue the remaining nights.

Free sky-night access

Full-moon and meteor-peak nights can open their matching rhythm for everyone. A one-time Open Night offers 72 hours of access to content around the first full moon tracked by the app. It is a local content giveaway and does not start a subscription. It excludes subscriber-only streak protection and automatic moon icons. Resetting app data does not restart the window. Earned Sky Passport stamps remain readable after paid or temporary access ends.

Your data and shared images

Your practice records are stored locally, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You choose whether to export or share an image. Resetting or deleting the app does not remove previous exports, samples saved to Apple Health or an Apple subscription.

Use and availability

The app and its content are provided for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell or redistribute the app or its content library. Availability of Health measurements and haptic features depends on device support and granted permissions.

Warranty and liability

The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is given and liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded. This does not limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Changes and contact

Material changes to these terms will be reflected on this page and explained in the app. Contact hello@vesperaritual.com.
