Privacy Policy

What the developer collects

Vespera Ritual has no account system, advertising, analytics or developer-operated backend. We do not collect, sell or share your app or Health data. The app processes your practice history and sky information on your device. Apple handles App Store purchases. You may choose to send exported images or a support email yourself, as described below.

Information on your device

Your optional name and photo, chosen city, mood check-ins, favorites, completed sessions, journey progress and settings are stored locally. Your city comes from a built-in list. The app does not request location permission.

A limited local copy of selected app information is shared with the app's widgets through Apple's App Group storage. It may include your chosen city, daily reflection, streak and session totals. It contains no Health measurements. The app does not provide its own cloud sync. Device backups are controlled by your Apple settings.

Apple Health permissions

Writing mindful minutes. If you enable Save to Health and grant permission, completed breathing sessions are saved as mindful minutes in Apple Health.

Reading for Night Mirror. Opening Night Mirror, a Premium feature, can request a separate permission to read sleep duration and stages, resting heart rate, heart rate variability and sleeping wrist temperature. These values are fetched and processed on your iPhone for the Mirror. They are not sent to the developer, stored in the App Group, or included in widgets, notifications, Live Activities, share images or posters.

The Mirror places Health records alongside your practice history. Its comparisons are descriptive and do not establish that breathing caused a difference or assess your health. Records may be absent if permission is denied or Health has no matching data. You can change access in the Health app under your profile, Data Access & Devices, Vespera Ritual. Revoking access prevents future reads for those categories. Previously saved mindful minutes remain in Health until you remove them there.

Sharing and support

When you choose to share an image, Apple's share sheet lets you select its destination. A constellation or poster may contain your chosen name, city, practice statistics and stamps, depending on the image. Check the preview before sharing. Health measurements are excluded. The service you choose then handles that image under its own policy.

If you email support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send and use them to answer your request. Please do not send Health records or other information that is unnecessary to resolve the issue.

Purchases and notifications

Apple processes subscriptions through your Apple account. The app receives product and entitlement information needed to provide access. The developer does not receive your payment details. Optional reminders and sky-night alerts are scheduled locally on your device.

Resetting data

Profile → Danger zone → Reset data removes your profile, favorites, practice history and related local app settings. The local date used to track the one-time Open Night remains, so resetting does not restart that access period. Resetting or deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription, delete samples already saved to Health, or remove images you exported. Manage those in the corresponding Apple settings or destination app.

Children and changes

The app does not collect children's app or Health data. If our data handling changes, this policy will be updated and material changes will be explained in the app.
